A female Chicago police officer responding to an automobile crash was severely beaten by the suspect who was high on PCP. The officer was justified in using lethal force, but refused to do, fearing scrutiny for shooting a black person.

The suspect, Parta Huff, 28, crashed his vehicle into a liquor store and left the scene on foot. Witnesses told the officers Huff was “out of it,” meaning under the influence of a mind altering substance, which was later confirmed with a positive drug test showing PCP. The witnesses also helped in waving officers down and identifying him.

When the officers confronted Huff, he instantly became physically non compliant. The situation escalated shortly after, and Huff struck the female officer several times and slammed her to the ground. The beating continued for several minutes, and due to the suspect’s extremely drugged-out state, multiple officers were unable to subdue him. The female officer sustained several injuries including a concussion, chipped bones in her shoulder, wrist and neck injuries and also had to have chunks of concrete pulled from her face.

Huff was charged with attempted murder of a police officer and aggravated battery to a police officer. The video demonstrates the negative impact ridiculous racism hysteria is having on our officers’ ability to carry out their daily activities.
