Body camera footage of the actor’s arrest last week shows him threaten, curse, and scream at Savannah police officers.
On July 8, 2017 the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police department had a little run in with actor Shia Lebouf. The actor, known for his roles in the “Transformers” series and the WWII epic “Fury,” appears to have gone completely off the deep end.
Shia approached an officer and a young lady in front of a Wild Wings Cafe and asked for a cigarette. The officer told Shia that he did not smoke. Shia didn’t like this answer and started cursing at the cop. Shia tells the officer “you ain’t shit” and even uses the classic “I pay your salary” line.
Because Shia was in public and children were present, the officer repeatedly tells him to calm down. Shia refuses and the officer attempts to make an arrest. He jerks away from the officer and runs back to his hotel, where the body camera footage starts below.
He was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. Read the full report here.
