Let’s hope congress decides to do something about that petition labeling Antifa as a terrorist organization.
It looks like Charlottesville isn’t the only place that is taking live action role-playing a bit too far. This previous weekend, organizers put together a “Rally Against Hate”. The only problem was that people kept beating the crap out of each other.
Antifa decided to show up and do the opposite of “Rally Against Hate” by ganging up and assaulting people. Because Antifa’s track record for putting innocent bystanders in the hospital, a petition was created to officially classify them as a terrorist organization.
The petition, which has been signed over 300,000 times, states
Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
We found a video form this previous weekend which perfectly outlines why they should be labeled as a terrorist organization:
